I’ve entered my "Forest Biome Mushrooms" in the current Spoonflower “Forest Biome Wallpaper” Design Challenge! I had thought I’d do it in more typical “mushroom-y” colours, but I guess you can see how that went!
Public voting for this Challenge opened Thursday Feb 1 and closes Tuesday February 13. You can link to the Voting Page HERE!
AND if you'd like to see this fun print design on Fabrics, Wallpaper and Home Decor in my Spoonflower Shop, CLICK HERE (this is the Large-Scale version which I think is best for Wallpaper). It also comes in a Small-Scale and Medium-Scale version too!
AND of course I couldn't resist adding this design to Graphic Tees in my TeePublic Shop! Scroll down to see!
AND as I said, I couldn't resist...I had to adapt this design for Graphic Tees (and more) too! Now available in my TeePublic Shop!
I'm playing catchup here since I've been away in Taiwan (it was an amazing trip, btw, and I'll try to write a post about it very soon!)
BUT, getting back to catching up...While I was away, one of the Spoonflower Design Challenges was "Surrealist Wallpaper", and I did manage to enter my new "Disembodied" design (in the Retro Colours, below left) before I left for Taiwan. When I looked at surrealist art, I just seemed to notice the weird eyes, mouths and hands the most!
Voting for this Challenge closed November 14, but this new design is now available in my Spoonflower, Redbubble, Society6 and TeePublic Shops in both Retro Colours and Rainbow Brights! Click the product images below to see these products in my Shops!
My Entry for Spoonflower's "Monster Mash" Design Challenge: "Monsters And Their Pets" (Mind the Poo!)
These cute Monsters have discovered that pets can sometimes have poopoo accidents! Ah well, they love their pets anyway! I entered my "Monsters and Their Pets" design in Spoonflower's "Monster Mash" Design Challenge! You can now purchase this design in my Spoonflower Shop on Fabrics, Wallpaper and Home Decor!
AND how could I resist?! This design is also now available on Graphic Tees, Wall Art, Totes and more in my TeePublic Shop AND on Lots of Other Products in my Redbubble Shop too!
DESIGN NOTE: For some reason (not sure why, really), I wanted to try out a design using just geometric shapes. So look closely….These guys are composed of just various shapes which I created by "adding" shapes together or "subtracting" shapes from other shapes! I very much enjoyed this process, it was actually quite Zen! And it was very fun discovering how little changes and details can add personality (check out the biceps on the little guy and the pigeon toes on the tall guy!)…I might have to try more of these!
When my family and I were visiting Tokyo in 2018, one of our favourite shops was the Design Tshirts Store graniph which has several locations full of limited-edition graphic T-Shirts, some designed in collaboration with popular artists. All of us (2 sons and 2 parents) each bought a handful of our favourites to bring home (example: kawaii sushi with faces on wheels). Ever since then, I’ve had a secret (not so secret?!) desire to create my own range of graphic Ts.
Most of you know that I’m absolutely obsessed with creating pattern designs, which are really just LOTS of individual motifs arranged to seamlessly repeat. Realizing these motifs could also be used as stand-alone graphics that would make fun and colourful T-shirts, I decided to open a new shop on TEEPUBLIC, a print-on-demand site which specializes in graphic Ts. My TeePublic Shop is now filled with my graphic T-shirts (and tanks, hoodies and onesies), all available in a wide range of colours and styles for both Adults and Kids/Baby. Have a look below for just a few of the new designs (you might even recognize some of them from my repeat patterns)!
Although TEEPUBLIC specializes in T-shirts, they also have a curated selection of high-quality products that include notebooks, tech cases, totes, stickers, magnets, mugs, wall art and more! See below (fun, right?!)...
Be sure to check out all the fun graphics in my new TEEPUBLIC Shop and check back often! I'll be adding lots more new designs!
