Me Made May was created by Zoe Edwards from a personal challenge ten years ago to wear only things she made for a month. She then asked others to join her via her blog and every year it has grown with hundreds joining her as she inspires sewists to be thoughtful about their handmade wardrobes. This year, over 30 Spoonflower employees participated in the challenge and I just wanted to share this gorgeous ruffle-sleeve top created by Kelley O. using my "Australian Eucalyptus" design. Love it and I think she looks absolutely gorgeous! Check out the Spoonflower Blog Post (May 28 2021) all about Me Made May and the over 30 projects created by Spoonflower employees! You can also see more of my designs (including this one!) in my Spoonflower Shop! Credits: Ruffle-Sleeve Top sewing pattern from Peppermint Magazine.

When my family and I were visiting Tokyo in 2018, one of our favourite shops was the Design Tshirts Store graniph which has several locations full of limited-edition graphic T-Shirts, some designed in collaboration with popular artists. All of us (2 sons and 2 parents) each bought a handful of our favourites to bring home (example: kawaii sushi with faces on wheels). Ever since then, I’ve had a secret (not so secret?!) desire to create my own range of graphic Ts. Most of you know that I’m absolutely obsessed with creating pattern designs, which are really just LOTS of individual motifs arranged to seamlessly repeat. Realizing these motifs could also be used as stand-alone graphics that would make fun and colourful T-shirts, I decided to open a new shop on TEEPUBLIC, a print-on-demand site which specializes in graphic Ts. My TeePublic Shop is now filled with my graphic T-shirts (and tanks, hoodies and onesies), all available in a wide range of colours and styles for both Adults and Kids/Baby. Have a look below for just a few of the new designs (you might even recognize some of them from my repeat patterns)! Although TEEPUBLIC specializes in T-shirts, they also have a curated selection of high-quality products that include notebooks, tech cases, totes, stickers, magnets, mugs, wall art and more! See below (fun, right?!)... Be sure to check out all the fun graphics in my new TEEPUBLIC Shop and check back often! I'll be adding lots more new designs!
For this week's Spoonflower "Weather Patterns" Design Challenge I decided to adapt my "Elemental Air" art print into a repeat because I think the subject matter was perfect for this challenge (and also because I think it makes a very nice patchwork-inspired repeat pattern too!)

I've just entered my "Jardin" design in this week's Spoonflower "Moody Tropical Flora Wallpaper" Design Challenge! I adapted this repeat pattern from an abstract floral art print I created (see it in my Art Prints Portfolio) and I really like how it has a modern Art Nouveau feel (maybe it has something to do with the colours too?)!
Check out all the entries at the Voting Page and you can shop this design in my Spoonflower Shop where it is available on fabric, wallpaper and home decor! JOIN ME on MAY 20-21 at SHOWCASE, a new virtual event connecting the Art + Design Licensing community, hosted by Artonomo and Jewel Branding! I'm a bit late posting about this week's Spoonflower "Embroidery Template" Design Challenge (I've been working on a "project" and will fill you in soon!)
