The First-Ever WGSN Kidswear "Prints & Graphics Sourcing Guide" for Autumn/Winter 22/23 Is Now Live!
WGSN is one of the world's leading trend-forecasting companies, so it was quite an honour to be asked if I could provide pattern designs (some cute, some more sophisticated!) for their FIRST-EVER "Prints & Graphics Sourcing Guide" for KIDSWEAR Autumn/Winter 22/23!
For those of you who are already a WGSN Subscriber, check out all the trends identified in this new Guide HERE (you will need to sign into your WGSN Account). BUT if you don't have a subscription, here is a sneak peek of just some of my designs in the Guide.
Look at this FANTASTIC DIY home decor project from talented home stylist Missy of Sonata Home Design! She used my Eucalyptus wallpaper from my Spoonflower Shop to completely transform an old bookshelf. Read her Blog Post to learn how she did it!
Missy says: "What a difference paint and wallpaper can make! We took bookshelves we have had for 20 years and gave them an update!"
If you love my "Eucalyptus" pattern design, be sure to check out my "Australian Flora" Collection in my Spoonflower Shop to see all the scale and colour options, available not only on Wallpaper, but also on Fabrics and lots of Home Decor items!
Here is my entry for this week's Spoonflower "Petal Solids Coordinates: Calm" Design Challenge! The idea behind this challenge was to use up to three given colours (this week it was Mushroom, Sky Blue and Pine) to create a design that will coordinate with the new Petal Signature 100% Cotton Solids coming soon to Spoonflower! I had a REALLY hard time with this challenge and ultimately entered the version using just one colour (Sky Blue) and optional White! BUT I also created a version using all 3 colours too which I think has a more earthy, cozy feel. BOTH versions are now available in my Spoonflower Shop in 3 sizes!
And if you would like to vote, check out the Voting Page too!
Awhile back I posted some pics on Instagram and Facebook of a gorgeous tree that I run by in the morning but had no idea what it was. I asked if any of you knew and you did...MIMOSA! I kept it in my mind to turn into a pattern design, so here it is...I entered this one in this week's Spoonflower "Petal Solids Coordinates: Joy" Design Challenge! The idea behind this challenge was to use three given colours (Mustard, Cotton Candy and Lagoon, and I added optional Black) to create a design that will coordinate with the new Petal Signature 100% Cotton Solids coming soon to Spoonflower! My "Mimosa" is now available in my Spoonflower Shop in 3 sizes on fabrics, wallpaper and home decor!
Here is my entry for this week's Spoonflower "Ice Crystals" Design Challenge and I find it so calming for some reason! This reminds me of the Khumbu Icefall on the way up to the summit of Mt. Everest. And NO, I've not seen it in person, just pictures and that fantastic IMAX movie "Everest" by MacGilivray Freeman (which I've probably watched about 7 times). But I did trek in the Himalayas many years ago...
This design is now available in my Spoonflower Shop in 3 sizes on fabrics, wallpaper and home decor!
