Now Seen In THE WORLD OF INTERIORS Magazine! Check Out the Design Report in the September 2020 Issue!
I was very excited to be contacted by "the most influential design and decoration magazine", The World of Interiors, a couple of months ago. They asked if I would like to be included in their Design Report which features a curated range of designers and artists. I said...Yes, please! It was great timing too, since my new SHOP had just gone live. So check out the Design Report (#6 on Page 147) in the September 2020 Issue of The World of Interiors which includes a pic of my Sayulita pillow in my studio garden and a bit about me and my SHOP!

The Newest Addition to the Print & Pattern "Designers for Hire" Directory and Designer Feature on the Print & Pattern Blog Today!
I am very pleased to announce that Marie Perkins (aka Bowie Style) of Print & Pattern has included me in her prestigious "Designers for Hire" Directory and featured me and my work on the Print & Pattern Blog today! I am honoured to be amongst some of my absolute favourite pattern design heroes, including my teacher at Make It In Design, Rachael Taylor. I invite you to read the Print & Pattern Blog Post about my work, published today on January 29 2019!
Just thought I would share the 2 illustrations I submitted for the recent cover contest for one of my favourite magaazines, Uppercase Magazine! They didn't win the cover spot, but I was notified that one of my illustrations was chosen to be included in Issue 40 coming out in mid-December! At this point though I'm not sure which of my 2 submissions was chosen!
The first theme was to celebrate the magazines 10th Anniversary in 2019 so my pairs of hands on which you can count to 10 are raised in celebration! Another of the requested themes was "maturity and longevity" so the botanical illustration depicts a plant as it grows through various life phases from seed to a variety of flowering blooms (kinda like how we all end up wearing many hats in our day-to-day lives, perhaps?)
Tell me which of the 2 you prefer...I know which one I like best!
How fun is this? My "Friendly Bear" sock design won an "honourable mention" in the Corgi Sock Design Competition! Corgi is a UK company established in 1892 that supplies luxury socks to the Royal Family! Check out the announcement of the winners on the Corgi Socks Blog!
Very excited to announce that I have been featured on the Print & Pattern Blog today. For those who don't know, Print & Pattern is one of the most respected and widely-read blogs about pattern design! Many thanks to Marie Perkins (aka Bowie Style)!
