For this week's Design Challenge, Spoonflower is partnering again with East Fork Pottery to challenge artists to create designs for Autumn table linens, using only two or more of East Fork's core glaze colours: Amaro, Blue Ridge, Morel, Black Mountain, Eggshell and Panna Cotta (love the colour names, btw)! So here is my entry: "Harvest Veg with Lotsa Dots"! I went for max graphic impact! Public voting opens today Thursday July 20 and I would love your vote for this one! I've entered my "Happy Harvest" design in this week's Spoonflower "Petal Solids Coordinates: Optimism" Design Challenge! The idea behind this Challenge was to use at least 1 of the 3 given colours of Watermelon, Marigold and Lemon Lime, to create designs to coordinate with Spoonflower's Petal Signature Cotton Solids fabrics.

This is my entry for this week's Spoonflower "Autumn Botanicals" Design Challenge! I created this design with the concept of Wabi Sabi in mind. Wabi Sabi is the ancient Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in the imperfect, incomplete and impermanent, as seen in the natural cycle of growth and decay. Here, the leaves change from Spring/Summer Green to Autumn Colours to Winter Gray, when they dry up and drift away on the wind...And the cycle repeats again...
This design is now available in my Spoonflower Shop in 3 sizes on all kinds of fabrics, wallpaper and home decor. Check them all out my Spoonflower Shop!
