This week's brief was to design packaging for a soap collection featuring abstract patterns! Here are my four "Fun Flavours" designs!
Had a lot of fun with this one! Decided to keep it very graphic and geometric for a fun cityscape placement print and some co-ordinating repeat patterns! Can't wait to see what's in store for Week 7!
Here is a new illustrated recipe for Pasta Con Mollica di Pane (Pasta with Bread Crumbs!) I designed for www.theydrawandcook.com. This is a great quick and easy pasta dish that is super delicious. It will be a go-to recipe for you!
I am taking Pattern Observer's Photoshop for Designers 1 course right now, just to continue learning more skills! Here is a repeat I just did...loving this course! So much to learn, so little time!
Week 3 of my Folio Focus course was all about geometric and striped designs. Here are the patterns I designed, 2 main patterns and coordinates and below, on bolt fabric!
This week we were tasked with coming up with a positive message for girl's apparel. Here is my "Make A Difference" design on apparel! Hope you like it!
Just finished Week 1 of the FolioFocus course given by Rise Design and Shine! This week the brief was "Botanicals", so I designed these 2 floral patterns as part of a collection that includes this geometric I designed earlier (bottom left). Hope you like them! And I put the pattern on a notebook below!
This week we explored mark-making and textures for MATS Creating Collections for Home Decor. So I decided to create a collection for wood featuring some of the doodles I did! This was the final week of this course and just might have to take it again in the future!
Although this week was all about lettering, I really had fun designing patterns for my ceramics collection! Onwards next week for designing for wood products!
Two new patterns...the first is called "Post-Modern", done for the Intermediate "Stripe Form" brief, and the second is "Gossamer", done for the Advanced "Pale Garden" brief! Because I went away last weekend, my time was tight, so I had to revise an earlier pattern with a paler colour way! It worked, I think!
